LHC Direct offers the following services

Framework assembly

Includes checking the compliance of the basement with building design documents; installation of hydraulic insulation to the basement, under log walls and between logs; assembly of log walls according to drawings, installation of dowels into pre-drilled holes, also marking down empty holes for electrical cables in the process. When the log framework has been set up, screw bars are installed in the corners of the building and logs are tightened. Tongued jambs are installed to windows and doors. Finally labels are removed from logs.

Log House Weatherproofing

In addition to previous activities, inserted ceiling joists, posts and glued beams are installed and the roof is built. The log framework for the first floor is added. Eave and gable boards, roof insulation together with ventilation battens and roof battening (for tile and metal sheet roofs) or roof boards with hydraulic insulation (for roof shingles) are installed.

Log House Exterior finishing

In addition to previous activities, windows and exterior doors together with exterior decorating boards are installed. The building gets balconies and terraces, balusters and exteriors stairs. Eave and gable under cover boards are installed. If the first floor is also made of log framework, weatherboarding, wind barriers and additional battening are built. Roofing material is also installed in this stage.

If a client buys a log house and respective construction services from Honkakartano Oy, LHC Direct has a contract with Honkakartano to complete the above listed three construction stages.

Move-in ready

Includes all kinds of interior works to a completely finished log house.
